FIRST Lego League Robotics Summer Camp

A hands-on robotics camp designed to spark curiosity, teamwork, and confidence.

Certified by FIRST Canada, students explore robotics, coding, and engineering through hands-on challenges and collaborative activities over a week. Through our camp, students will build confidence, resilience, and a passion for learning, all while building a robot to compete in a mini-competition on Friday!

Registration is open!

Limited time offer! Register before May 14 for $30 off.

Camp Overview

A week built on learning, teamwork, and fun

This program is designed to ignite curiosity, foster teamwork, and develop problem-solving skills in young minds. Campers will explore robotics, coding, and engineering through guided lessons, creative challenges, and collaborative activities.

By the end of the week, students will have gained more than technical skills. They will leave with new friendships, greater self-confidence, and a deeper appreciation for science and technology.

Our camp is officially supported by FIRST Canada, who have provided training and resources for our staff.

Our Values

The camp experience is built on five core values:

Group of children working on a robotics project in a classroom with teachers supervising. The children are assembling parts from yellow bins, with a whiteboard and projected screen in the background showing instructions.

Curiosity

We encourage every camper to ask questions, experiment, and discover new solutions.

Students in a classroom working on a robotics project with yellow storage containers, laptops, and various tools on the tables.

Collaboration

Campers learn to listen, share ideas, and support each other, while working in a group.

Group of children gathered around a table working on a colorful poster with drawings and writing in a classroom or library setting.

Creativity

Each activity is designed to inspire innovation and original thought. Each robot is original!

Perseverance

Challenges are opportunities to grow. There will be a lot of learning happening here!

Respect

We create an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome to learn!

Week at a glance

This program covers many elements of FLL! See below for a brief overview.

Monday-Tuesday: Intro to Robots

Campers begin with robot-building fundamentals and learn how components work together.

Tuesday-Wednesday: Coding Concepts

Students explore loops, repeats, sensors, movement, and guided robot behaviours on the LEGO Spike.

Group of children sit on the floor of a hallway using laptops and working on robots, with a red outlined maze on the tiles spelling out 'KAIS'.

Wednesday-Friday: Team Challenges

Activities like the Cup Challenge and FLL missions encourage teamwork and problem-solving, with competition!
