General Information
Scuola Robotics (Scuola and Kanata Lakes Robotics Club) is offering the FLL Challenge summer camp in Kanata for the second year in a row, with two sessions: July 27-31 and August 10-14.
FIRST LEGO League introduces STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) to young children through fun, exciting hands-on learning.
Participants gain real-world problem-solving experiences through a guided, global robotics program using LEGO technology, helping today’s students, families, and educators build a better future together. During the camp, campers will build LEGO robots to solve challenges and partake in other fun activities during the week.
The camp will be located at Earl of March Secondary School, 4 The Parkway, Kanata, ON K2K 1Y4.
Camp Details
The FLL Challenge Camp is open to students entering grades 4 to 7 in the 2026-2027 school year.
Each camp session lasts one week, and the content is the same between sessions. Content has changed slightly from last year (2025); however, all topics and challenges remain the same. Registrations are processed on a first-come, first-served basis. Each session is limited to about 25 campers. The registration form for each camp will automatically close if the limit is reached.
Schedule
The camp will run from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm daily. Late care until 5:00 pm is available at an additional cost.
Please note: All equipment and materials will be provided. All children are asked to bring their own nut-free lunch, snacks, and drinks.
Dates and Fees
Two sessions are offered for 2026:
Session 1: July 27-31 (5 days)
Session 2: August 10-14 (5 days, note that this was changed)
Fee: $329.00 (early bird until March 1), payable by e-transfer. All taxes are included in the price.
After March 1: $359.00
Additional fee for late care until 5:00 pm: $25.00 for the full five days. This option is selectable on the registration form.
Payment and refund policy:
E-transfers should be made to info@scuola.ca. Please pay promptly upon registration to guarantee your spot.
Refunds up to one week prior to the camp start date will incur a $50 fee.
Depending on availability, campers may switch between sessions at no additional cost. This is not guaranteed.
If any camps are cancelled at the discretion of Scuola Robotics (Scuola or Kanata Lakes Robotics Club), all campers will receive a full refund.
